SYNOPSIS
Beatus is the result of the need to delve into scenic codes that interest us as a source of new ways of communicating. In particular, the properties of vibratory and harmonic songs as bearers of messages encrypted in our deep being since man discovered the sung voice as an instrument of direct communication with our essence. Research on this has been the core of this show.
BEATUS
ETIMOLOGY: The adjective Blessed comes from the Latin "beatus" (full of goods, rich) and from the Latin verb very little used "beare" (enrich, make happy) of a very dark etymological origin.

ABOUT US
Born in 2009 as the first scenic laboratory in Cantabria (Spain), with its own and stable space and a line of work based on the principles of Theater Anthropology and acting training as signs of identity. Our performances are based on the investigation of new languages and forms of scenic communication that draw on tradition to project themselves to the present moment. We build proposals based on making the theatrical event a unique and unforgettable experience between creator and audience. Our show "El mar dulce" ("The Sweet Sea"), our first laboratory experience released in 2012 has been recognized in various national and international meetings and festivals of contemporary theater.
